Some photos are up and ready for viewing from our ski trip to Montana.
The temperatures were considered mild while we were there - mostly
in the teens and twenties during the day. Today, the high wasn't going
to get above zero! On the day we arrived, it was snowing, and didn't stop
until sometime on Saturday, dumping over SIX FEET of snow on the
Mountain! They couldn't even open on Saturday! We had never skiied
on that much pure powder, and it was heavenly. We're also pleased to
report only a couple of minor bumps and sprains - Elliot had some
bruised ribs thanks to a close encounter with a small tree and Harvey
sprained his right knee on the last day avoiding a crashing snow-boarder.
[Correction: Harvey tore his right knee ACL and will be having reconstructive surgery at the end of January.]
Marcus had one day of skiing and refused to go back, but at least he
didn't break anything this time. Nancy, Ilana and Logan had no incidents
and lots and lots of fun.
